We’re talking Monaco, manifesting cable, hamster deaths, the lack of oblique agendas, and the way in which the ambiguity of a mark, the visible stages of revision, and the playfulness of mistakes made permanent, allow the viewer just a moment, to escape into and empathize with Krohn’s process driven abstract paintings.
